We look forward to seeing you on February 28th for TPTA Day at the Capitol!

This is the best opportunity to visit with your State Representative and State Senator to discuss with them the priority issues for TPTA.

In the 2023 Session we will be asking the Legislators to expand Direct Access to 30 days and to enact “Fair Co-Pay” legislation to require insurance payors to treat PT as Primary Care and not as a Specialty in terms of patient’s co-pays.

The day will begin with an informational session where we will cover the talking points for you to convey a consistent message to all Members of the Legislature. There will also be a role playing demonstration so you are prepared for your visits. We will then all go to the Capitol for the meetings. You will be placed in a group with other TPTA members from your area so that you are not sent to an office alone. You will find this to be a very fulfilling experience that will get you more involved in the promotion of your profession. Please plan to join us February 28th.

Legislative Day is free for TPTA members. If you are not a TPTA member, registration is $10.
