Nydia is adjunct professor at St. Mary’s University in SA, Texas.  She developed and implemented the curriculum for two 3-hour credit courses offered within the Exercise Sports Science Department:  “Living Yoga” and “Yoga for Healthcare & Fitness Professionals”. Dr. Hughes is a graduate of the University of Texas Medical Branch with a BS in Physical Therapy. She practiced physical therapy for 16 years at Scott & White Hospital and Scott & White Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation clinic. She is Manual Therapy Certified and an Orthopedic Certified Specialist. Dr. Hughes has taught orthopedics and manual therapy for the last 14 years and is currently an Associate Professor at UTMB. Rebecca Galloway, PT, PhD is a Geriatric Certified Specialist (GCS) through the American Board of Physical Therapist Specialties (2006 – 2026). Dr. Galloway is an Associate Professor of Instruction at UTMB where she teaches medically complex patients, psychosocial, and secondary in spine dysfunction. Dr. Melissa Howard began her career in pediatric orthopedics in 2011 at Shriners Hospitals for Children (SHC) in Houston, Texas after graduating from Texas Tech University. She has continued to expand her areas of practice at SHC-Houston to include pediatric neurology with a focus on spinal cord injury and cerebral palsy. Dr. Howard also works in the Motion Analysis Center (MAC) at SHC-Houston, performing pre and post-operative instrumented gait analysis on children and adolescents with Cerebral Palsy (CP). Her experience as both a rehabilitative therapist and motion analysis therapist gives Dr. Howard a unique perspective on the rehabilitation process after Single Event Multi-Level Surgery (SEMLS). Allan Besselink, PT, DPT, Dip.MDT is a physical therapist and Assistant Professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, TX. He is the CRO of the Smart Life Project, a health initiative that provides sports science solutions for training, rehab, and life. Allan is one of 400 practitioners internationally who have attained the Diploma in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy from the McKenzie Institute International – the highest level of training in the McKenzie Method. Dr. Sean Harris currently works as the Orthopedic Residency Site Coordinator and Lead Physical Therapist at Memorial City Ironman. He graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2015 from Texas Woman's University, where he served as Class President. Sean then went on to complete an Orthopedic Residency program with Memorial Hermann and became an Orthopedic Certified Specialist in 2017. Currently, he is completing his Fellowship in Manual Therapy through OPTIM. Amy Walters teaches pharmacology and geriatric physical therapy at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, Texas. Dr. Walters earned her Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch. She went onto receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016 from the College of St. Scholastica. She has been a professor at the University of St. Augustine since 2016. Dr. Walters has presented multiple times at the Texas Physical Therapy Association annual conferences as well as at local district meetings.

Hazel Anderson is an Applied Anatomy and Biomechanics professor at the university of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, Texas. Dr. Anderson is from Zimbabwe and earned her Physiotherapy degree in Glasgow, Scotland. She moved to the United States in 2008 and went on to receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015 from Texas Tech University. She has been a professor at the University of St. Augustine since 2017.
