The sacrailiac joints can be a source of pain in patients with lower back conditions. This course will discuss diagnostic maneuvers and steps for treatment. 1CCU 

At the conclusion of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Identify and diagnose sacroiliac joint dysfunctions;
2. Become familiar with diagnostic maneuvers;
3. Correctly point the steps and treatment for sacroiliac joint dysfunctions.

Speaker(s)
Jaime Gasco Tamarit MD, FAANS, FEBNS has over a decade of experience in neurosurgical care. He earned his medical school degree at the University of Valencia in Spain and then went on to complete his neurosurgery training at the University of Texas Medical branch in Galveston. Dr. Gasco is one a few neurosurgeons worldwide to be board certified in the USA and Europe. He specializes in brain, spine, and peripheral nerve surgery with emphasis in using the latest minimally invasive technologies including MIS-TLIF, XLIF, ALIF, CoFlex, Intracept, OLIF and also pain management to include ESI injections and blocks. Dr. Gasco is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, Spine Intervention Society and Texas Association of Neurological Surgeons.

Course registrants will be notified via email within 24 hours if course must be cancelled. Further, course cancellation will be posted to the GEPD Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/GEPDgroup).

Additional Information and Registration
CCUs are only issued to PTs and PTAs. In order to receive credit, you must pre-register, be present for the full course and sign in and out at the time of the meeting. After the course complete the course evaluation that will be emailed to you. You must follow all instructions, including completing registration before the cut-off. Credits will be issued after verifying attendance and completion of evaluation by the deadline no later than September 16, 2022. Please allow until then for processing. You will log in to your TPTA member account or the account used when completing the evaluation. Please wait until after that date to contact TPTA if your CCUs have not posted on your transcript. Instructions for retrieving will be emailed to you.
