This predominantly lab-based course will cover key topics essential to e vidence-informed and safe treatment of the cervical spine. Topics include a review of the anatomy, biomechanics, and common disorders of the cervical spine. Additionally, basic joint assessment, and select manual therapy tech niques such mobilization/manipulation procedures, soft tissue mobilization, and neural as will be discussed and practiced. 4CCUs
At the conclusion of the course, participant

Da
vid Midaugh, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT received his DPT in 2011 from Texas
State University - San Marcos. He completed his orthopedic residency and f
ellowship in manual therapy in 2015. He founded El Paso Manual Physical The
rapy in 2014, a private-pay outpatient manual therapy clinic focused on hel
ping El Pasoans avoid unnecessary surgery, injections and pain medications.
He taught orthopedics at the University of Texas at El Paso in 2016-2017.
He has trained numerous physical therapy students and fellows in the manual
therapy specialty.
