What is your first reaction when your new or existing patient says, “I’m feeling dizzy today?” What do you do when your patient says “I’m spinning” as they lie down to do an exercise? Dizziness (including vertigo) affects about 15% to 20% of adults yearly (Neuhauser, 2016). If you are NOT a vestibular specialist (and even if you are), this course is for you! Every physical therapy professional should feel confident in recognizing and determining the right next steps for helping individuals with dizziness, vertigo, and imbalance, including those with unexplained falls.
