We are pleased to announce the general session speaker for the 2024 TPTA Annual Conference. TPTA welcomes Dr. Barbara S
anders, PT, PhD, FAPTA, Board certified Sports Physical Therapist, Emeritus and Professor Emeritus, Texas State University.
Dr. Sanders is an accomplished therapist, past TPTA President, former Vice-Chair of the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners and has received numerous awards including a Lifetime Achievement in Physical Therapy Award from Mount St. Joseph University and the Lucy Blair Service Award from the American Physical Therapy Association.

2024 CALL FOR COURSE PROPOSALS and POSTER ABSTRACTS
TPTA is currently accepting course proposals and research poster abstracts for 2024.

Courses should:
introduce learners to a specific area of research
teach new research skills or enhance and expand existing ones
offer in-depth review and discussion of a research issue from a fair and balanced perspective.
