Synergy

Synergy is a quarterly publication of the Texas Physical Therapy Association.  Synergy is a member benefit, and therefore only available to TPTA members.  Features include TPTA Member Updates, the Executive Director's Report, and District News and Events.  Each issue also contains articles of general interest to the physical therapy community in regard to local, state, and national matters.

Availability

All advertising space is booked on a first-come, first-served basis.

Payment

All ads are non-commissionable. The rates listed are net rates.
Advertising space must be paid for in advance of publication.

Closing Dates and Ad Specifications

  • No space reservations will be accepted without TPTA's completed and signed advertising contract and payment in full.  It can be accompanied, but not replaced, by a standard insertion order.
  • Advertising copy/camera-ready artwork must be included with the completed contract and payment.
  • Display ad prices do not include typesetting or alterations. Artwork charges may be assessed if the artwork is not the exact size of the requested ad and camera-ready and/or grayscale. 
  • Unless special arrangements are made, contracts reserving space must arrive by the space closing date or advertising may not be published as requested.
  • Previous ads in multi-ad orders may be repeated if new artwork is not received by the closing date. If no prior ad exists, the advertiser forfeits the cost of contracted space not used, and the unused space will be allocated at the discretion of the editor/publisher.
  • Advertisers under contract will be rate-protected as per the terms of the contract.
  • No conditions, printed or otherwise, appearing on the ad insertion order, billing instructions or copy instructions which conflict with the publisher's stated policy will be binding on the publisher.  Special requests will be honored at the discretion of the editor/publisher when possible.
  • The editor/publisher reserve the right to reject any advertising. All advertising is accepted and published upon authorization from the advertiser to do so.  The advertiser agrees to hold the publisher blameless from all claims, damages, and expenses arising out of any advertising accepted.

Cancellations

  • No cancellations or changes in contracts reserving space will be accepted after the space reservation closing date. Cancellations or changes must be received in writing by the space reservation closing date. Any advertiser canceling after the space reservation deadline forfeits the cost of the space.
  • Advertisers who fail to comply with pre-payment requirements will be charged the non-discounted rate.

TPTA will provide a link to view publication.

Publication Dates

Publication dates are estimated dates.  Production delays can occur.  When reserving space, it is the responsibility of the advertiser to ensure enough lead time for ads to be published in a timely manner.
